MARINE DUES VESSELS RELATED CHARGES
 (EFFECTIVE FROM 17.05.2002)

1. SCHEDULE OF PORT DUES

NOTE :

  1. The port dues of a vessel will be assessed on her total GRT at the rate shown against the relevant vessel group according to GRT of that vessel.
  2. For oil tankers with segregated ballast, the reduced gross tonnage that is indicated in the "Remarks" column of the International Tonnage Certificate will be taken to be its gross tonnage for the purpose of levying Port Dues.
  3. A vessel entering the port in ballast and not carrying passengers shall be charged with only 75% of the Port Dues with which she would otherwise be chargeable.
  4. A vessel entering the port but not discharging or taking in any cargo or passengers therein (with the exception of such unshipment and reshipment, as may be necessary for purpose of repair) shall be charged with only 50% of the Port Dues with which she would otherwise be chargeable.
  5. A LASH vessel making a 'second call' to pick up empty and / or laden fleeting LASH barges shall be treated as vessel entering a Port, but not discharging  or taking in any cargo or passengers therein, and shall not be charged any Port Dues.
  6. Port dues shall be levied at 50% of the above rates in the following cases :
    i)  A vessel entering for taking any provision, water bunker etc. for her own consumption.
    ii) Telegraph vessel.
  7. No Port dues shall be chargeable in respect of : 
    i)  any pleasure - yacht; or,
    ii) any vessel which having left any port is compelled to re-enter it by stress weather or in consequence of having
        sustained any damage.
  8. Dedicated daughter vessels employed due to draft restriction at the Kandla port for the purpose of shuttling down between the Vadinar lighterage point and the Kandla Port shall be treated as 'coastal vessel' if they possess valid Coastal License. Further no Port Dues shall be levied on them at Kandla if Port Dues are levied at Vadinar.

2.2 MISCELLANEOUS PILOTAGE FEES
